Yesterday marked a standout moment in the journey of Alma - a refined editorial workshop held at the stunning Storrs Hall in the Lake District. Designed for photographers across the North West and Cheshire, this workshop offered an immersive day of creativity, connection, and curated inspiration.

Set on the shores of Lake Windermere, Storrs Hall was the perfect backdrop to explore timeless, high-end wedding styling in a setting that felt both classic and wild. With two beautifully styled real model couples, and four creative set-ups, photographers had the chance to build luxury portfolios, refine their editorial storytelling, and capture a wealth of romantic, detail-rich content.

As a Cheshire and North West wedding photographer, curating this experience through Alma was about more than aesthetics, it was about offering photographers a space to grow, create, and be inspired by thoughtful design.

Styled Wedding Inspiration at Storrs Hall

Every element of the day was brought to life by an incredible team of talented suppliers from across the North West. The vision: elevated editorial styling that would resonate with couples looking for modern, luxurious wedding inspiration - whether they’re marrying in Cheshire, the Lake District, or beyond.

Willow and Fig in the Lakes styled the day to perfection, layering textures and tones that felt effortless and romantic. Their use of natural elements and soft, neutral palettes created a look that was elegant without being over-styled, ideal for couples planning timeless weddings in venues across the North West..

Seed & Wild designed ethereal, garden-inspired floral arrangements that gave each setting a feeling of wild romance - perfectly framing our couples and enhancing every scene with natural beauty.

Wren Cake Design brought her signature style to the table with a soft, sculptural cake that echoed the overall aesthetic - refined and artfully detailed.

Our brides wore four beautifully contrasting gowns from Eden Wedding Boutique - one sleek and modern, one soft and flowing - showing how versatile editorial wedding photography can be when paired with thoughtful fashion choices. Hair was styled by Lucy Pearson, who created effortlessly modern updos and soft waves, while Jade Ryder completed each look with glowing, luminous bridal makeup.

The scene was tied together with custom stationery by White Orchid Print and Design, featuring delicate textures, soft tones, and an understated elegance that speaks directly to high-end couples.
